How I pictured the AT&T Center looking when I heard this news, realized with the help of Google Images and MS Paint. This is not a real picture, unfortunately.
As it turns out, the power will be supplied by "wind farms" in West Texas--not from giant turbines towering over the actual AT&T Center. I'm just saying...that would have been cool.

I've said for years that the Spurs should fit opposing players with individual turbines. The wind produced by Tony Parker blowing by them on his way to the basket could run the lights in five arenas. And how about Manu Ginobili? That guy is pure electricity. Hook up some electrodes and he could probably power the team jet by himself. Of course he would have to ride the whole trip strapped to a chair while maintaining consistent levels of game-time awesomeness. And we all know how streaky Manu can be.
But really the Spurs and Windtricity teaming up for greenliness makes perfect sense. The silver and black is the biggest class act in all of professional sports. Especially when compared to Mark Cuban's "thirty napkins per customer night" at the American Airlines Center.
